Shantayh is a delight to work with. I had some problems getting the unit for the date I reserved due to problems on my end, but Shantayh worked with me on it. Renting the unit was painless, and actually pleasant. I highly recommend doing business with this young lady. Easily 5 stars! Have recently had more reasons to review both Life Storage (Ms Shantayh) and Extra Space on Timuquana, Jacksonville, FL (Vincent). As Life Storage is now under the ES umbrella, I am eligible for a senior discount on my account there, as well, and Shantayh has worked tirelessly and cheerfully to make that happen. Vincent has been working to help me with a refund for two months that I was overcharged on one of my units. He had gotten the difference approved for the first month, then a second month was auto withdrawn at the higher rate. I spoke with Debra at Customer Service at length, and she was supposed to authorize the refund from the location of my unit, however, they didn't get the info. But I believe they were able to speak to the same CS rep after I contacted them. This is a difference of $58.96 per month, for a total over payment of $117.92. I am on a fixed income (SS) and can't afford unexpected amounts such as this to come out of my account. Vincent has been very diligent in attempting to resolve this matter, and calling me back to keep me updated with his progress. I'm hoping this will be seen by the right person, who can authorize the release of my money back to my bank account. Thank you very much, and thanks for employing people like Shantayh and Vincent. 1/19/2024 I was in need of renting another unit from Life Storage. As usual, Shantayh was a pleasure to work with, making the whole transaction smooth and painless. Wish all of my life experiences were as pleasant. Easily 5 stars. Aug 19,2024 Shantayh to the rescue again! Due to some mix up at my bank, my auto payment didn't process. She put it through again, no problem. Five stars for my favorite manager again!
